Random Celeb Spotting Of The Day

Here is a continuous list from my stalkeresque tendencies...

Sat 2.11: Joey Fatone formerly of the boy band NSYNC spotted whooping it up for his Birthday extravoganza at the hooka club CUSH on the Lower East Side. He wore a plain white v-neck t, a pair of jeans and a few gold chains around his neck. After a hug and a kiss on the cheek (it was my birthday too) he even smiled nicely for a photo... To bad his PR Rep sucks the big one.


Fri 2.09: Vanessa Mannillo seen in the lobby of her Manhattan apartment building. The MTV Veejay wore a long black puff coat and chatted incessantly on her cell phone before hopping in the elevator up to the 21st floor.


Sat 11.06: Actor Ryan Reynolds spotted walking through Brass Monkey nightclub in the Meat-packing District around 1am. After a tight squeeze past the sexy star known for movies like "Van Wilder" and "Amityville Horror", I managed to give a brief Hello and proceed to mention how great and adorable he was. Very humble and and polite, the juicy boy thanked me and joined a table of older-aged men drinking beers.


Superbowl Sunday 2.5: SNL Actor, Jimmy Fallon, seen yapping on his cell inside the archway of his Gramercy Park apartment building. He stood hunched over with his eyes quickly darting around to assure his safety at the entrance to the large gothicy building. After glancing at him and realizing he was on his cell phone, I continued to walk down the street and quietly spoke into my mobile of the sudden star sighting...

Wed 2.1: Lizzie Grubman... Gonna Vomit all over her bleached out hair... At Cippriani's for lunch... Go home Lizzie!!! Seen with 4 other conspirators...

Tues 11.8: Mila Jovovich seen walking down Thompson Street in Soho with her latest "boyfriend/director" in hand. I first noticed paparazzi taking obscure photos of the couple dining at an outdoor restaurant, and as I continued to walk down the street, they stepped right in front of me, leaving only their derriers to view. Paparazzi continued to walk ahead and snap photos of the two with myself in a bright loud sweater in the backdrop. Look for me in the next US Weekly y'all...













Tues 11.8: Luke Wilson & Uma Thurman seen on the set of their new movie "Super Ex-Girlfriend" being filmed in Soho, NYC. It was a cool, brisk night with the set lighting 'just right' as the actors stood waiting to finish their scene off the corner of Prince St & Wooster. A large crowd looked on, making it more trying for the professional actors to concentrate on the work at hand. Luke wore a dark suite sharp as nails- Nice.

Mon 10.31: Roberto Cavalli seen cavorting outside at Cippriani's Soho today. His entourage stood huddled around him as his driver awaited curbside for his departure. Across the street and inside a building I saw paparazzi with digital cameras in hand, ready to snap up lucrative shots of the famous fashion designer.

Fri 10.28: Former MTV Veejay, Dave Holmes, seen walking south down West Broadway with tall blonde male friend. He strolled casually, donning a sharp tan plaid three piece suit. I noticed he had a very lovely peaches and cream complexion as I caught his eye, did a double take, and then walked on.

Sun 9.18: Tyson Beckford seen chiling on a bench outside of Ralph Lauren & O.K. Cigars on West Broadway this Sunday evening. He wore dark shades, a black t-shirt and jeans; and sat relaxed, puffing on a sweet smelling cigar which was most likely just purchased from the shop next door. Upon recognition, a few fans asked if he wouldn't mind posing with them in a snapshot. The friendly Jamaican-Oriental Supermodel charmingly obliged, and followed by saying "No problem, enjoy your night." after they thanked him. No, seriously Tyson...THANK YOU.

Fri 9.16: Ralph Lauren seen lunching at Cipriani's with family and friends. The group sat at a table on the street and included his wife, daughter & son, as well as two friends who later joined them. His firey red ferarri was parked next to the curb, with many interested on-lookers nearby. He wore large dark sunglasses, a striped shirt, a casual black jacket and jeans. He seemed extremely happy and content with the afternoon's festivities.

Wed 9.14: Lizzie.... Grubman... seen... lunching.... at... Ciprianis... again... Her Denali was parked roadside near her table.

Mon 9.12: Linsay Lohan seen walking north down West Broadway in Soho with full fledge entourage in toe. The frail and pale celebutant donned a white dress and long blonde hair. She was followed shortly after by a gaggle of paparazzi carrying cameras galore. As the 'Fully Loaded' groupies began their obnoxious behavior, Lindsay and pals ran swiftly into Reiss, a posh clothing store, and the doors quickly closed behind her. After taking cover for a few minutes, she decided to make a run for it and broke out of the boutique, headed straight for her get-away vehicle.

Fri 9.9: Lizzie, I have 3 words for you: NO MORE CIPRIANIS. The yellow submarine was seen yet again lunching at the exclusive restaurant on West Broadway. She chatted intensley with an older man appearing to be a client or possibley one of daddy's friends. She hardly stopped long enough to take a breathe before diving into more babble but was finally detered when a small group of boys walking past her table noticed the famous face and commented just loud enough for her to swing her head around and let out a few hardy laughs.

Thurs 9.8: Leonardo Dicaprio found on the set of his new movie "The Departed" on Hick Street in Brooklyn. There are trucks, trailers and huge lighting rigs lining both sides of the street. Leo passes Sq. Egg on the sidewalk and is accompanied by two other people escorting him to his next scene. He appears taller in person than would be expected and is sporting a light brown vintage T as well as some chin pubes. The movie is set to take place in Boston, but apparently the neighborhoody feel of Brooklyn Heights suffices.

Wed 8.31: Maggie Gyllenhaal spotted this morning walking down Spring Street and turning the corner onto Green. She wore cropped jeans and a black shirt and was carrying a bouquette of wild flowers in arm. She glanced at me with that look only a New Yorker could pull off as she continued around the corner and down the road.


Tues 8.30: Say it with me people..."REPEAT OFFENDER"... Carson Kressley spotted once again on West Broadway with the crew of "Queer Eye" having thier morning breakfast buffet and setting up shop for yet ANOTHER posh male make over extravoganza! They camera crew, sidekicks etc. were parked outside the soon to be Illy temporary store and Patricia Fields.

Wed 8.17: Adam Mesh a.k.a. "Average Joe", spotted downstairs in the lobby of his midtown apartment complex. He was dressed in his best gym gear, consisting of sweaty t-shirt, shorts, and sneaks. He was covered in sweat, and looked a bit tired carrying his gym bag. Stares were exchanged for a good 5 seconds with D-Roomie while it was realized that he wasnt someone known from college, but someone seen from TV.

Wed 8.17: Once again, Lizzie Grubman seen standing with some friends outside Blue Smoke BBQ & Jazz in midtown Wednesday evening around 730ish. She sported a simple black dress and pin-straight bleach-blonde hair. She chatted it up with her fellow celebutants until they finished they're cigarettes and went back inside.














Wed 8.03: Fashion celebrity, Carson Kressley , spotted taping a new episode of "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" at Reiss on W. Bdwy. The whole crew set up shop early morning outside the store on the sidewalk, complete with breakfast buffet, canvas chairs and camera technicians.

Tues 8.02: Victoria Secret model, Frederique, spotted on Prince Street near Olives. She is tall, slim and tan and I hope that I look that naturally beautiful when I'm her age. Clare Danes is spotted later on that day.

Thurs 7.28: Lizzie Grubman spotted lunching with her entourage at Ciprianis on W. Brdwy. She is giggling and conspiring with one female friend and two men appearing business-like in manner. Upon completion of lunch, she gets up to reveal a stunning brown and pink sun dress with brown espadrilles on feet, along with some serious bottle-blonde locks. She steps into a black, tinted SUV complete with driver. They pull away from the curb and are gone.

Wed 7.26: Jonathan Antin spotted walking, hunched over slightly, down Prince St. He is wearing street clothes and looks exceptionally shorter in person. When I approach him to gush about his show, he smiles politely and says "Thank You, Thank you...thats very sweet of you to say." We walk on...

July: Puff Daddy (P.Diddy) & Penelope Cruz spotted interviewing and taking photos outside Ciprianis and nearby sidewalk. They are posing for the Sean John label, which Penelope is the next spokesmodel for. P.Diddy apparently liked her work for Ralph Lauren and has signed her on in a new deal. She carries a few petite pooches under her arms as accessories. The street is lined with huge trailers, vans and luxury cars to make an impressively clean getaway.

June: Lizzie Grubman spotted lunching at Ciprianis, outside at a table. She in the back though, so it is hard to get a full glimpse of her. All I really see is that yellow-mustard colored hair peaking out from under the awning.

May: Carson Kressley, "Fashion Savant", from 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy', spotted just outside Ralph Lauren on W. Bdwy. He is looking extremely well polished and groomed...quite dapper really. He is attempting to hail a cab as I walk past him in awe of his colorful, country-meets-urban-amazon look.

April: Some kid from one of the WB specials spotted outside the MAC store on Prince St. He looks a bit scruffy, but I know I know him from somewhere. I think about going up to him to figure out why he is so familiar, and then it hits me that he is from TV. I go into Mac to check my email...
