DC4C 4ME - 3!

Tomorrow night I'm seeing Death Cab for Cutie at MSG and I can't wait! My third time seeing them and each time gets a little bigger... a little better. Its been interesting to watch them grow as a band, see their fan base expand and their melodies build into a plethora of emotions, beats, rhythms, poetry. I'll admit that they now have their share of songs listed in the "crowd-pleaser" category, which has probably only helped to heighten their fame. And I can appreciate and even bop along to such songs, but the real deal comes from those personal faves, the ones that make you think of your exact location when you first heard them, allowing you to re-experience the emotions felt upon the notes first registering with your soul. That is what its all about...
